Troubleshooting Your Hytale Server

Most Hytale problems have quick fixes. Work through this guide before opening a ticket, and you will solve most issues yourself.

First checks

  1. Open the Console and read the most recent messages, errors usually point straight at the cause.
  2. Try a Restart from the panel.
  3. Check the CPU and RAM graphs, constant high usage means you need a bigger plan.
  4. Make sure the game and any mods are up to date.

Common problems and fixes

  • Breaking changes between builds. Always back up your world before updating during early access.
  • Players cannot connect. Confirm the server is started and players are on a compatible client build.
  • Heavy performance use. World generation is demanding, choose a plan with room to spare.
