These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern the use of game server hosting services provided by 8Bit Hosting (“we”, “us”, “our”).
By purchasing or using any of our services, you (“you”, “the customer”, “the client”) agree to be bound by these Terms.

If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you must not use our services.

2. Service Overview

8Bit Hosting provides hosted game servers, including but not limited to Minecraft, Garry’s Mod, and other supported titles.
All services are provided on a best‑effort basis and may vary depending on server load, network conditions, and maintenance requirements.

3. Account Requirements

  • You must be at least 16 years old or have permission from a parent/guardian.
  • You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and login details.
  • Any activity performed under your account is your responsibility.

4. Payments & Billing

  • All prices are listed in GBP (£).
  • Services are billed on a monthly, quarterly, or yearly basis depending on the plan selected.
  • Payments must be made in full before service activation.
  • Failure to pay an invoice by the due date may result in suspension or termination of your service.
  • Refunds are not guaranteed and are issued only at our discretion.

5. Service Usage Rules

You agree not to use our services for:

  • Hosting illegal content
  • DDoS attacks or malicious activity
  • Distributing malware, cheats, or exploits
  • Abuse of network resources
  • Activities that violate UK law or the laws of your own country

6. Resource Limits

Each plan includes specific CPU, RAM, storage, and other resource allocations.
You agree not to intentionally bypass or exploit these limits.

We may throttle, restrict, or suspend your service if it negatively impacts other customers or the stability of our systems.

7. Backups & Data

  • Backups are provided as part of your plan but are not guaranteed.
  • We are not responsible for data loss caused by user error, corruption, or hardware failure.
  • You are encouraged to maintain your own off‑site backups.

8. Uptime & Availability

We aim to provide high uptime and stable performance, but we do not guarantee 100% uptime.
Maintenance, hardware issues, or network outages may occur.

We are not liable for downtime, loss of revenue, or loss of data resulting from service interruptions.

9. Support

We provide support for:

  • Server setup
  • Basic troubleshooting
  • Panel access
  • Network issues

We do not provide support for:

  • Custom plugins, mods, or scripts
  • Third‑party software configuration
  • In‑game issues unrelated to hosting

10. Cancellations & Termination

  • You may cancel your service at any time through your account or by contacting support.
  • No refunds are issued for unused time unless otherwise agreed.
  • We may terminate your service for violation of these Terms or abusive behaviour toward staff.

11. Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

  • We are not liable for loss of data, revenue, or damages resulting from service use.
  • Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the service in the previous billing cycle.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms at any time.
Continued use of our services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
