How to Configure Your Palworld Server

Palworld server settings are controlled by PalWorldSettings.ini. You can edit this file directly from the panel's file manager.

Find the config file

  1. Log in to the panel and open your Palworld server.
  2. Click Files in the left sidebar.
  3. Navigate to Pal/Saved/Config/LinuxServer/.
  4. Open PalWorldSettings.ini. If it does not exist yet, start the server once and it will be created.

Key settings

  • ServerName="My Palworld Server": Name shown in the server list.
  • ServerPassword="secret": Password to join (leave empty for public).
  • ServerPlayerMaxNum=32: Maximum player count (up to your plan limit).
  • AdminPassword="adminpassword": Password for in-game admin commands.
  • RconEnabled=True: Enables remote console access.
  • ExpRate=1.0: XP multiplier (increase for faster progression).
  • PalCaptureRate=1.0: How easy it is to catch Pals.

Applying changes

Save the file and restart your server from the panel. Changes take effect on the next start.

Useful tip

Set bUseAuth=False if you want to allow players without Steam authentication (not recommended for public servers).
