Once your Palworld server shows Running in the panel, you and your friends can join. This guide covers connecting via the in-game menu.
Before you start
- Start the server from the panel and wait for the status to show Running.
- A brand new server needs a couple of minutes on its first boot while it generates the world.
- All players must own Palworld on Steam.
Find your address
Your server's IP address and port are shown at the top of its page in the panel. The default Palworld port is 8211.
Connect in-game
- Launch Palworld and click Join Multiplayer Game.
- At the bottom of the server list, enter your server's IP and port in the format
123.45.67.89:8211. - Click Connect.
- If your server has a password, enter it when prompted.
Share with friends
Send them the IP address and port. If you set a password, share that too, see the configuration guide for how to set one.
If you cannot connect
- Confirm the server status is Running in the panel.
- Double-check the IP and port, the default port is
8211(UDP). - Make sure everyone is on the same game version.
- Allow a new server a few extra minutes on its very first start.
