How to Set Up Admins on Your Palworld Server

Palworld uses an admin password system. Anyone with the password can run admin commands in-game.

Set the admin password

  1. Open the panel and go to your Palworld server.
  2. Click Files and navigate to Pal/Saved/Config/LinuxServer/PalWorldSettings.ini.
  3. Find the line AdminPassword="" and add your password:
    AdminPassword="YourSecurePassword"
  4. Save the file and restart the server.

Using admin commands in-game

  1. Join your server.
  2. Open the chat and type: /AdminPassword YourSecurePassword
  3. You now have admin access for this session.

Useful admin commands

  • /Kick PlayerName: Kick a player.
  • /Ban PlayerName: Ban a player.
  • /TeleportToPlayer PlayerName: Teleport to a player.
  • /ShowPlayers: List all connected players with their Steam IDs.
  • /Save: Force save the world.
  • /Shutdown 60 "Restarting soon": Schedule a server shutdown with a message.

Tip

Use a strong admin password. Anyone who knows it can run any admin command including kicking and banning players.
